| Frequently
Asked Questions
Are
these real bands?
No. They are fake bands. That's where the site's name
comes from.
But
they look like real shirts.
That's because they ARE real shirts. Silkscreen on 100%
cotton. You can buy them and wear them and everything.
Why
would I want a shirt with the logo of a band that doesn't exist?
I don't know. Why do people buy shirts from Old Navy
that feature fake baseball leagues or bowling teams or surf destinations?
Because they're cool. Because they're unique. Because the artwork
is rad. There are plenty of reasons, and quite a few of them involve
the word "rad."
You
totally stole my idea for a band name.
Sorry. Our crack research staff was pretty sure these
bands didn't exist at the time the shirts were printed. But if
you want to go with one of these names for your band, you can
have it. As long as you'll let me sell your band's t-shirts. And
if you're OK being known for a lack of originality.
Where
do the names come from?
In the case of "Certain
Sons of Belial" and "Forsake
My Sweetness," they are phrases found in the
Old Testament book of Judges (King James Version). The others
are totally made-up.
So
are these religious shirts?
As much as "forsake
my sweetness" is a religious phrase.
What
kind of shirts are these?
100% cotton Alstyle Apparel AAA 10oz tees. They're preshrunk,
with double-needle sleeve and bottom hems. The artwork is silkscreened.
How
do they fit?
Very well. The fit is slightly tapered for a more athletic
look, which means they run a little bit smaller than your average
shirt. Fake Band Shirts are available in S, M, L & XL.
Do
you have XXL?
Not as of now. Sorry.
Do
you have any women's sizes?
No, but that's a possibility in the future. If you like
a certain design and would buy it in a women's size,
send us an email and let us know.
What
kind of payment do you accept?
Visa, Discover, MasterCard, American Express, and PayPal.

is Factory43?
The umbrella creative organization that owns and operates
FakeBandShirts.com.

Do
you live in Chico, California?
No, but I hear it's nice there. And "Chico"
is fun to say.
Will
you design a logo for my band?
Probably not.
Are
these bands available on iTunes?
No. Please try to keep up. |
